Privacy and cookies
In short: we only collect what you write to us, to reply to you. Nothing is sold or shared.
Who looks after your data
Simon Horswell EI, trading as Maison du Coquelicot, 8 Boulevard du Minervois, 11200 Tourouzelle, France. Email: wendy@maisonducoquelicot.com.
The contact form
When you write to us through the form, we receive your name, your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you.
Messages are stored by Netlify Forms, the form service of our host Netlify, Inc. (United States). Netlify states that it complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We keep your messages for five years, then delete them.
We don't sell your data and we don't share it with anyone.
Hosting
Like any host, Netlify processes technical data (your IP address, for example) to show this website and keep it secure. The fonts are served by this website itself, so no data goes to Google.
Bookings
The "Book a room" button takes you to Freetobook, our booking calendar. What you enter there is handled by Freetobook, under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
Today this website sets no cookies and doesn't track your visits: no statistics, no advertising, no embedded map or video. That's why you don't see a cookie banner.
If one day we add an outside service that sets cookies (a map, a video, statistics), a banner will appear with two buttons, "Accept" and "Refuse". That service will only load if you click "Accept", and never if you refuse. Your choice is kept in your browser for six months, then we ask again. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookies" link at the bottom of the page.
The links to Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram and X are plain links: nothing is loaded from those sites unless you click.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. Email us atwendy@maisonducoquelicot.com and we'll reply within a month.
If you think we're not respecting your rights, you can contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
